YouTube Music podcast Is Finally Rolling Out To More Countries
YouTube Music now offers podcasts in Brazil and Canada, with local language support. Both YouTube Premium and free users can enjoy this feature. Podcasters must upload a video version of their podcast to make it available on YouTube Music. Users can find podcasts through the “Podcasts” filter on the home tab or the dedicated option in the “Explore” tab. The platform allows background listening and offline access to podcasts, with host-read endorsements or sponsorship messages included. Podcasts can be enjoyed in both audio and video formats, but only podcasts with a video version can be uploaded. YouTube plans to allow audio-only podcasts via RSS feeds in the future, aiming to compete with Spotify without exclusive deals with podcasters.
